Books Open Doors to Dreams – PFMECT’s Community Library & Safe Learning Space

In many homes across Moradabad, there is no quiet corner to study, no proper lighting, and often no peaceful environment for children to focus on their education. For girls, the challenge is even greater.

That is why Premwati Fakirchand Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust (PFMECT) established a Library and Safe Learning Space in the Linepar area – a place where children don’t just read books, but build their futures.

More Than Just a Library

Our Community Library cum Study Centre is a safe, well-lit, and peaceful space dedicated to underprivileged children, especially girls. Here, students can:

  • Study their school curriculum without distractions
  • Access reference books, competitive exam materials, and storybooks
  • Receive guidance and mentorship from volunteers
  • Prepare for board exams and higher studies
  • Develop a love for reading and lifelong learning
  • Participate in group learning and discussions
  • Feel safe and respected while pursuing their education

So far, 455+ students have benefited from this learning space. Many children who once struggled to study at home are now scoring consistently better and moving closer to their dreams.

Why This Safe Learning Space Matters

In low-income and slum areas of Moradabad, countless bright and talented children lack the basic environment needed to succeed academically. Issues like:

  • Overcrowded living spaces
  • Poor lighting and ventilation
  • Noise and distractions
  • Lack of access to books and learning materials
  • Limited guidance and mentorship

…often force children to compromise on their education.

Our library provides a dignified and supportive environment where every child – boy or girl – can study with focus, confidence, and peace of mind.

Your Support Can Change Lives

Every contribution, big or small, directly strengthens this initiative:

  • ₹1,000 – ₹2,000 = New books and educational magazines for one month
  • ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 = Study tables, chairs, and basic infrastructure
  • ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 = One year of library maintenance and fresh book collection
  • ₹60,000+ = Help us expand and open a new learning space

You can also donate books (school textbooks, storybooks, competitive exam guides, novels, etc.). Every book counts.

This is Not Just a Library – It’s a Movement

This space represents hope, equality, and the belief that every child deserves a fair chance to succeed, regardless of their background.

By supporting the PFMECT Community Library, you are not just donating books or money — you are investing in dreams, dignity, and a brighter future for the next generation.

Now it’s your turn to make a difference.
