Encouraging creativity, expression, and patriotism through student activities

Premwati Fakirchand Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust (PFMECT) conducted a two-day student expression programme at Government Primary School, Shanthipura, Anekal, Bengaluru. The programme combined creative student activities with the school’s Independence Day celebration, encouraging students to explore their imagination and express their ideas about India through art.

Themed “My India, My Dream,” the programme provided students from Classes 1–8 with a structured opportunity for creative expression, learning, and participation in Independence Day activities — fostering patriotism, imagination, responsibility, and community engagement.

Artwork Day

Students explored the theme “My India, My Dream” through creative artwork, expressing their imagination and ideas about India through art.

  • Classes 1–5: Coloring activity using provided outline drawings
  • Classes 6–8: Drawing competition

The activity gave students an opportunity to express their imagination and ideas through art, encouraging creativity and self-expression in a structured, supportive environment.

Day 2 — 15 August 2026

Independence Day Celebration

The programme continued with the school’s Independence Day celebration, bringing together the creative activities from the previous day with patriotic observance.
