Practicing Good Governance

PFMECT, from the inception itself, works on a delegated work environment. Each and every person in the organization is involved in the process of decision making in a scientifically designed system.

Policy and decision making in the Trust is done through a four-tier system:

  • Departments & Divisions: Monthly review meetings are held for each division and department regularly.
  • Executive Committee: Manages day-to-day operations and reports to the Board of Advisors. Meetings are held quarterly.
  • Advisory Body: Consists of technically competent professionals from diverse backgrounds, appointed for one year.
  • Board of Trustees: Sets the vision and broad governance guidelines while remaining independent of daily operations.

PFMECT encourages its partners to follow credibility norms to ensure good governance in the development sector. The Trust also adheres to these norms internally.

The Governance & Credibility System includes a systematic set of norms, administered and monitored by qualified professionals and a Company Secretary.
